Roller and Dek Hockey are a fast-paced sport, and even when played with extreme caution; can put players in a position to get injured. Contact sports of any kind, and at any level can be hazardous. A player really only has two levels of defense when protecting oneself. The first consists of good physical conditioning and good protective gear. The second and last defense is to back yourselves up with "first class" medical accident insurance.




In the past we've had to rely on big name, national sanctioning bodies for this type of coverage. But while we were sending them our money, they were seldom helpful and remained aloof of our needs right up to the day they were sold. We were told our memberships were sold to another national sanctioning organization. This one less helpful, more aloof, less important and completely confusing.




I.S.C.A. says "THAT'S ENOUGH"!! We want to offer facilities and their players alike a comprehensive package of insurance, house and tournament sanctioning, and a simple no non-sense method of administration. All at a level of quality that is synonymous with the I.S.C.A. name.




Presently each rink endures a yearly registration fee and their players are being charged $25.00 a year for coverage that carries a $500.00 deductible and $25,000 worth of coverage. The I.S.C.A. plan offers no yearly registration fee for rink owners, and the rink's players would endure only a $250.00 deductible with $50,000 worth of coverage at a minimal cost of $15.00 per year. With that in place we can all enjoy the peace of mind we deserve, with the value and quality we need. We here at the I.S.C.A. wouldn't have it any other way!




On May 1, 1997 the I.S.C.A. became its' own, self-sufficient, governing body and we invite you and all the other rinks to do the same.





HOW IT WORKS






The facilities come under the I.S.C.A. as its' sanctioning body and in return your players will pay their yearly fee and have their administration and claims dealt with by our office. No getting passed from department to department. Immediate customer service is what we provide. Roller hockey facilities helping roller hockey facilities. In addition you would be entitled to our league management services featuring our scheduling system, registration system as well as referee clinics, coaching clinics and hosting regional championships for a national tournament circuit. It doesn't stop there either. The I.S.C.A. makes strides each and every day to improve this ever growing business and what we want to do is offer your players that comfort and experience that they need and you the rink owner, the security of a governing body that is on your side and will think of your needs first.
